The game between closely ranked teams ended with eighth ranked Salou's (3-2) home victory over 9th ranked Pinta Castell (1-4) 92-71 on Sunday. At the losing side center Jan Orfila (207-86) responded with 19 points and Argentinian guard Facundo Dayer (185-95) scored 12 points and 5 assists. Five Salou and four Pinta Castell players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Salou moved-up to fourth place in Group C-1, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser Pinta Castell keeps the ninth position with four games lost. They share it with Sant Cugat. Salou will meet Roser (#7) on the road in the next round. Pinta Castell will play against Martinenc and hope to win that game.
