Everything went according to plan when top-ranked Crema (4-0) outleveled on the road bottom-ranked Vicenza (0-4) 81-41 on Sunday. Crema dominated down low during the game scoring 54 of its points in the paint compared to Vicenza's 24. Crema forced 27 Vicenza turnovers and outrebounded them 50-23 including a 17-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of guard Francesca Leonardi (187-2, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds and the former international point guard Raelin DAlie (159-87, college: Wisconsin, agency: LBM Management) who added 13 points, 6 rebounds, 6 assists and 6 steals during the contest. Four Crema players scored in double figures. Coach Mirco Diamanti's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side point guard Elena Fietta (167-95) responded with 7 points and 5 assists and center Vanessa Sturma (185-98) scored 11 points. Crema moved-up to second place in A2. Loser Vicenza still closes the standings with four games lost. Crema will meet at home Carugate (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Vicenza will play against Torino (#12) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
