Austrian-American forward Bryce Douvier (201-91, college: TAMUCC) notched 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the effort and American guard DeRiante Jenkins (196-96, college: VCU) supported him with 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four BC Lulea players scored in double figures. Even a double-double of 20 points and 11 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) by Jamaican-American forward Willesley Butler (203-96, college: UAB) did not help to save the game for Umea. Forward Emil Haglund (201-96) added 11 points and 7 rebounds for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. BC Lulea moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Boras. Umea lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with seven games lost. BC Lulea will meet at home bottom-ranked Fryshuset (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Umea will play against Koping Stars and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
