There was a minor upset when Ramat G. (1-2) was defeated on the road by Petah Tikva (1-2) 79-73. Petah Tikva forced 20 Ramat G. turnovers. Ramat G. was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was a good game for American guard Kenisha Bell (175-94, college: Minnesota) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists. Her fellow American import forward Jordan Hooper (188-92, college: Nebraska) contributed with 29 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. American forward Alisia Jenkins (186-94, college: S.Florida) answered with a double-double by scoring 22 points and 12 rebounds and international guard Yarden Garzon (186-3) added 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Ramat G.Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Petah Tikva will play against M.Haifa on the road in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
