Another exciting game was played in Stargard between eighth ranked Enea Zastal and 7th ranked Spojnia where Enea Zastal (6-4) crushed Spojnia (5-5) on the road with 43-point difference 96-53. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Spojnia. Enea Zastal dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Spojnia's 30. They outrebounded Spojnia 44-28 including 30 on the defensive glass. Enea Zastal players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Spojnia's players. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian guard Nemanja Nenadic (196-94, agency: BeoBasket) who helped to win the game recording 13 points, 6 rebounds and 9 assists. American forward Tony Meier (204-90, college: Milwaukee) contributed with 14 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Enea Zastal players scored in double figures. American forward Jake OBrien (205-89, college: Temple) replied with 13 points and U.S. Virgin Islands forward Justin Gray (198-95, college: Texas Tech) added 11 points in the effort for Spojnia. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Enea Zastal moved-up to fifth place, which they share with King. Spojnia at the other side dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Enea Zastal will play against higher ranked Stal (#4) in Ostrow Wlkp. in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Spojnia will play on the road against Stal (#4) in Ostrow Wlkp. and hopes to get back on the winning track.
