Regular Season Round 11: Jamtland - Boras 82-85

The most surprising game was the first loss of KFUM Jamtland (9-1) in Ostersund on Friday night. Hosts were edged by fifth ranked Boras Basket (5-4) 85-82. It ended at the same time the nine-game winning streak of KFUM Jamtland. It was a great evening for American point guard Siyani Chambers (183-93, college: Harvard) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points and 4 assists. His fellow American import forward Elyjah Goss (201, college: IUPUI) helped adding 11 points and 11 rebounds. Four Boras Basket players scored in double figures. American forward Steve Harris (201-95, college: ESU) responded with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and the former international forward Pierre Hampton (201-91) scored 18 points. Boras Basket moved-up to fourth place, which they share with BC Lulea. KFUM Jamtland at the other side still keeps top position with one game lost. They share it with Norrkoping. Boras Basket is looking forward to face league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins at home in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. KFUM Jamtland will have a break next round.
