Betclic ELITE ProA top team - Metropolitans (6-1) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Chalons-Reims (3-4) 105-71. Metropolitans dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Chalons-Reims' 36. Metropolitans forced 19 Chalons-Reims turnovers. It was a quality performance for American Keith Hornsby (192-92, college: LSU) who led the winners and scored 19 points and 5 rebounds. Bosnian forward Miralem Halilovic (205-91, agency: PEPI SPORT) accounted for 16 points and 7 rebounds for the winning side. Metropolitans' coach Vincent Collet felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Center Neal Sako (210-98) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 14 rebounds and American forward Donte Grantham (203-95, college: Clemson) added 14 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Chalons-Reims in the defeat.
