Very predictable result in Czestochowa where fifth ranked Mickiewicz (6-2) beat 13th ranked AZS PC (2-6) 87-72 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of Tomasz Krzyminski (201-1) who helped to win the game recording 23 points and 6 rebounds and guard Dawid Grochowski (190-89) who added 14 points during the contest. Mickiewicz's coach Jaroslaw Jakubiec let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Forward Marcin Majcherek (199-99) responded with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and Dawid Jozefowski (184-96) scored 18 points. Mickiewicz have an impressive six-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place in Group C, which they share with 4 other teams. AZS PC lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the thirteenth position with six games lost. They share it with AZS AGH II. Mickiewicz will meet at home league's leader Cracovia in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. AZS PC will play against Czeladz (#9) and hope to secure a win.
