Regular Season Round 4: Templeogue - Killester 78-83

There was a minor upset in Dublin where top-ranked Templeogue (3-2) was defeated by third ranked Killester (3-2) 83-78 on Saturday. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Ciaran Roe (170-93) who helped to win the game recording 15 points, 7 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and American guard Kason Harrell (188, college: PFW, agency: GoEmpire Group) who added 21 points and 4 assists during the contest. At the losing side American swingman Marquel Murphy (201, college: RMU) responded with 18 points and 7 rebounds and the former international center Jason Killeen (211-85, college: Augusta) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 13 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Templeogue's coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Killester have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Maree and Templeogue. Killester will meet league's second-placed Ballincollig in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Templeogue will play against Neptune in Cork and hope to secure a win.
