Rather expected game when 16th ranked Estudiantes B (1-6) lost to fourteenth ranked Tenerife Naut. (3-4) in Santa Cruz de Tenerife 73-77 on Saturday. The winners were led by Montenegrin forward Danilo Brnovic (200-0) who scored that evening 20 points and 8 rebounds and power forward Javier Martinez (200-3) supported him with 16 points and 10 rebounds. Even 17 points by swingman Hector Figueroa (194-1) did not help to save the game for Estudiantes B. Swingman Marco Echeverria (190-2) added 8 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Tenerife Naut. moved-up to eleventh place in Group B, which they share with Guimar. Loser Estudiantes B keeps the sixteenth position with six games lost. Tenerife Naut. will meet league's leader Real Madrid 2 on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Estudiantes B will play against the league's second-placed Alcala (#2) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
