Regular Season Round 8: Tychy - Dziki Wwa 79-78

Eleventh-ranked Dziki (3-5) gave a tough game to third ranked Tychy (7-1) on Saturday. Tychy managed to secure only one-point victory 79-78. However their fans expected much easier game. The best player for the winners was swingman Maciej Koperski (190-99) who scored 16 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Forward Lukasz Diduszko (196-86, agency: BIG) chipped in 14 points and 7 rebounds. Point guard Grzegorz Grochowski (180-93) produced 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Bartosz Majewski (192-97) added 16 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tychy have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Walbrzych. Dziki lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with Slask 2. Tychy will meet Ksiezak (#15) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Dziki will have a break next round.
