Regular Season Round 8: SESE - Castelldefels 51-79

Very expected game when 8th ranked SESE (3-3) was smashed by third ranked Castelldefels (4-1) in Barcelona 79-51 on Saturday. The winners were led by Marc Manes (196-86) who scored that evening 28 points and 5 rebounds and guard Santiago Serrataco (187-90) supported him with 15 points and 8 rebounds. Even 12 points and 8 rebounds by forward Josep Sole (195-97) did not help to save the game for SESE. Antonio Ruiz (-97) added 9 points for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Castelldefels moved-up to second place in Group C-1. Loser SESE dropped to the sixth position with three games lost. They share it with Salou and Martinenc. Castelldefels will meet at home league's leader Tarragona in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. SESE will play against Roser (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
