Regular Season Round 7: Iskra Svit - Lucenec 83-103

The game in Svit supposed to be also quite interesting. Third ranked Lucenec (5-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Iskra Svit (2-5). Lucenec did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 103-83 on Saturday. Lucenec looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The game was dominated by American players. It was a great evening for guard Kyle Castlin (193-96, college: Xavier) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists. Guard Desure Buie (179-97, college: Hofstra) helped adding 23 points and 5 assists. At the losing side Garrius Holloman (198-89, college: BCU) responded with 30 points and 5 rebounds and center Tyran Walker (213-89, college: Wake Forest) produced a double-double by scoring 10 points, 13 rebounds and 8 blocks. Five Lucenec and four Iskra Svit players scored in double figures. Lucenec moved-up to second place. Loser Iskra Svit keeps the seventh position with five games lost. Lucenec will meet at home league's leader Levice in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Iskra Svit will play against Prievidza (#8) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
