Regular Season Round 5: Raiders - Pyrinto 81-98

No shocking result in a game in Jarvenpaa where leader Pyrinto (4-0) defeated 5th ranked Raiders (2-2) 98-81 on Saturday. The game was mostly controlled by Pyrinto. Raiders managed to win fourth quarter 27-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Pyrinto forced 21 Raiders turnovers. Guard Kion Williams (186-3) stepped up and scored 18 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners and guard Brunel Madzou (185-5) chipped in 26 points. Five Pyrinto players scored in double figures. Forward Otto Raisanen (188-3) responded with 27 points and 8 rebounds and forward Elmo Lehtonen (191-3) scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players saving starting five for next games. Pyrinto have a solid series of four victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader. Loser Raiders keeps the fifth place with two games lost. They share the position with PuHu. Pyrinto will meet HNMKY (#8) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Raiders will play against Vilpas in Salo and hope to secure a win.
