Regular Season Round 7: Asker Aliens - Kongsberg 74-62

Very important is a road loss of third ranked Kongsberg (4-2) against fourth ranked Asker Aliens (5-2) on Saturday night. Visiting Kongsberg was defeated by Asker Aliens in Asker 74-62. Asker Aliens outrebounded Kongsberg 40-25 including a 16-5 advantage in offensive rebounds. It was a great evening for forward Roy Nwachukwu (196-90, college: Seminole St.) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Forward Aksel Bolinz (201-90, college: NIU) helped adding 11 points and 11 rebounds. Five Asker Aliens players scored in double figures. At the losing side Serbian guard Ognjen Nisavic (195-92) responded with 19 points, 6 assists and 4 steals and Croatian Marin Mornar (205-93, college: LMU) scored 13 points. Kongsberg's coach Henrik Aabelvik rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Asker Aliens moved-up to third place. Kongsberg at the other side dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. Asker Aliens will play against Tromso (#5) at home in the next round. Kongsberg will play against Ammerud Bskt and hopes to get back on the winning track.
