There was a minor upset when 14th ranked Piombino (1-5) was defeated at home by sixteenth ranked Borgomanero (1-5) 74-59 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was guard Alfredo Boglio (190-3) who scored 15 points, 6 rebounds and 8 assists. Forward Alessandro Ferrari (200-3) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds.
