Regular Season Round 6: Sangiorgese - Legnano K. 72-67

There was a change at the Serie B leadership position after last games. Round 6 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Legnano K. (5-1). They were defeated by twelfth ranked Sangiorgese (2-4) 72-67 on Sunday night. Guard Alessandro Voltolini (192-1) had a double-double by scoring 15 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and swingman Simone Angelucci (198-98) chipped in 17 points and 6 rebounds during the contest. Sangiorgese's coach Davide Roncari used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was forward Sebastiano Bianchi (197-92, agency: SLN) with 14 points and 8 rebounds and guard Diego Terenzi (193-95) scored 13 points and 7 rebounds. Five Legnano K. players scored in double figures. Sangiorgese moved-up to ninth place in B, which they share with Monfalcone and Crema. Newly promoted Legnano K. dropped to the third position with one game lost. They were joined at the leadership position by Vigevano who have the same record. Legnano K. will play next round against Piombino trying to make it back to the top of the standings. Sangiorgese will try to continue on its current victory against fifth ranked Omegna at home.
