There was no surprise when 16th ranked Bilbao (2-7) was outleveled on the road by second ranked Real Madrid (8-1) 95-61 on Sunday. Real Madrid looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. French center Vincent Poirier (213-93) nailed 16 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side and French Guerschon Yabusele (201-95) accounted for 18 points and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four Real Madrid players scored in double figures. Real Madrid's coach Pablo Laso felt very confident that he used 11 players saving starting five for next games. Dominican forward Angel Delgado (208-94, college: Seton Hall) came up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 13 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) and American center Jeff Withey (213-90, college: Kansas) added 6 points and 9 rebounds respectively for Bilbao in the defeat.
