Regular Season Round 12: Umea - Sodertalje 86-93

There was no surprise when 8th ranked Umea (2-9) was defeated at home by fourth ranked SBBK (6-3) 93-86 on Tuesday. SBBK outrebounded Umea 39-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of Serbian Lazar Radosavljevic (204-91, agency: Alti Sport) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 19 points and 14 rebounds and the former international Martin Pahlmblad (193-86) who added 23 points and 6 assists during the contest. SBBK's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was Jamaican-American forward Willesley Butler (203-96, college: UAB) with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 12 rebounds and point guard Gustav Hansson (185-95) scored 20 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. SBBK moved-up to third place. Umea lost seventh consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with nine games lost. SBBK will meet at home bottom-ranked Fryshuset (#9) in the next round where they are favorite. Umea will have a break next round.
