There was no surprise in Novi Sad where 5th ranked North Macedonian KAM Basket (2-5) was crushed by third ranked Serbian 021 (5-3) 86-57 on Thursday. The game without a history. 021 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They also forced 21 KAM Basket turnovers. It was a great evening for American Sara Loomis (188-97, college: Ashland) who led her team to a victory scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. Nikolija Jovanovic (180-1) helped adding 13 points and 8 rebounds. Four 021 players scored in double figures. 021's coach felt very confident using entire bench saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American center Adijat Adams (188-92, college: Biola, CA) responded with 23 points and 8 rebounds and Serbian power forward Kristina Puljizovic (188-90) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. 021 maintains third place with 5-3 record having just three point less than leader Pozega. KAM Basket lost their fifth game in a row. Defending North Macedonian champion dropped to the fourth position with five games lost. They share it with Badel. 021 will meet at home league's second-placed Orlovi in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. KAM Basket will play against Triglav and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
