Not a big story in a game in Zaragoza where 7th ranked Azulejos (3-4) was rolled over by second ranked Girona B (6-1) 86-62 on Saturday. Girona B shot the lights out from three sinking 15 long-distance shots on high 53.6 percentage. The best player for the winners was forward Eduard Garcia (198-98) who scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Ferran Diaz (187-3, agency: Global Sports Basketball) chipped in 14 points. At the other side the best for losing team was center Albert Fontet (213-86) who recorded 7 points and 6 rebounds and Pablo Gracia (197-96) added 10 points respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Girona B. Newly promoted Girona B maintains second place in Group C-3 with 6-1 record despite having the same number of points like the leader Lliria. Azulejos lost their third game in a row. They keep the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Quart. Girona B will meet at home league's leader Barca 2 in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Azulejos will play against Sol Girones (#4) in La Bisbal and hope to secure a win.
