Regular Season Round 9: Przemysl - MKS DG 2 77-81

Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Przemysl (2-5) was defeated at home by fifth ranked MKS DG 2 (7-2) 81-77 on Saturday. MKS DG 2 looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Piotr Lucka (194-96) stepped up and scored 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and Dawid Boryka (188-97) chipped in 11 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Rafal Serwanski (188-0) with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 7 rebounds and 10 assists and swingman Maciej Puchalski (203-4) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. MKS DG 2 keeps a position of Group C leader, which they share with 4 other teams. Newly promoted Przemysl dropped to the eleventh place with five games lost. MKS DG 2 will meet at home Tarnow (#16) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Przemysl will play against Rybnik (#15) and hope to secure a win.
