There was a minor upset when 8th ranked Lulea S. (2-4) was edged at home by eleventh ranked AIK 2 (1-3) 73-71 on Sunday. AIK 2 forced 20 Lulea S. turnovers. It was a great evening for Caspar Broms (195-2) who led his team to a victory scoring 20 points and 5 rebounds. Ajub Abdullahi helped adding 20 points. AIK 2's coach Reino Toomson used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. At the losing side Sebastian Lamberg (194) responded with a double-double by scoring 17 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and forward Simon Larsson (193-98) scored 23 points and 7 rebounds. Four Lulea S. players scored in double figures. AIK 2 left bottom position moving up to tenth place. It was Lulea S.'s third loss in a row. They dropped to the seventh position with four games lost. They share it with Hammarby and Hogsbo 2. AIK 2 will meet at home higher ranked Tureberg (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lulea S. will play against Jamtland 2 and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
