Everything went according to plan when third ranked Monaco (6-2) outscored at home 12th ranked Cholet Basket (3-5) 102-59 on Sunday. They outrebounded Cholet Basket 43-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Monaco looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Cholet Basket's players. The best player for the winners was Australian forward Brock Motum (208-90, college: WSU) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. International guard Yakuba Ouattara (192-92, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 23 points. Four Monaco players scored in double figures. American guard Dominic Artis (192-93, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) produced 11 points and 4 assists and naturalized Mali power forward Nianta Diarra (201-93) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Monaco moved-up to second place, which they share with ASVEL. Loser Cholet Basket keeps the twelfth position with five games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
