Everything went according to plan when third ranked Monaco (6-2) outscored at home 12th ranked Cholet Basket (3-5) 102-59 on Sunday. They outrebounded Cholet Basket 43-29 including 29 on the defensive glass. Monaco looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Cholet Basket's players. The best player for the winners was Australian forward Brock Motum (208-90, college: WSU) who scored 22 points and 9 rebounds. International guard Yakuba Ouattara (192-92, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 23 points. Four Monaco players scored in double figures. American guard Dominic Artis (192-93, college: UTEP, agency: Pensack Sports) produced 11 points and 4 assists and naturalized Mali power forward Nianta Diarra (201-93) added 10 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests.
