The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Split as it allowed them to take a leadership position. Split defeated 5th ranked Skrljevo at home 85-74. At the losing side American center Taylor Adway (205-96, college: Ferris St.) responded with 19 points and point guard Toni Jelenkovic (180-97) scored 12 points and 6 assists. Skrljevo's coach Damir Rajkovic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Skrljevo lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth place with five games lost. They share the position with Gorica. Skrljevo will play next round against strong Cedevita Jr. trying to get back on the winning streak. Split will try to continue on its current victory against twelfth ranked Alkar in Sinj.
