Regular Season Round 10: Notec Inowr. - KKS Basket 83-82

The game had a very big importance for second-ranked Notec Inowr. as it allowed them to take a leadership position in Group A. Notec Inowr. edged 14th ranked KKS Basket in Inowroclaw 83-82. Strangely KKS Basket outrebounded Notec Inowr. 44-28 including 31 on the defensive glass. Mikolaj Grod (194-89) scored 28 points and 7 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and point guard Aleksander Filipiak (185-90) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds, 11 assists and 4 steals during the contest. Five Notec Inowr. players scored in double figures. At the losing side power forward Maciej Rostalski (198-90) responded with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists and Lukasz Ulchurski (185-90) scored 22 points and 8 rebounds. Notec Inowr. have a solid three-game winning streak. As mentioned above they are at the top of the standings, which they share with Poznan. KKS Basket lost third consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourteenth place with seven games lost. KKS Basket will play next round against strong Tarnovia trying to get back on the winning streak. Notec Inowr. will try to continue on its current victory against seventh ranked Poznan Pyra on the road.
