Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Dubrava (3-8) was defeated on the road by eighth ranked Zabok (5-6) 84-75 on Wednesday. Zabok looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. The best player for the winners was forward Jure Gunjina (203-92, college: GSW, agency: SLN) who scored 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Srdjan Brocic (183-99, agency: BeoBasket) chipped in 12 points and 8 assists. Zabok's coach Jaksa Vulic used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. Swingman Lovro Mandalinic (195-96) produced 22 points and 4 assists and guard Mateo Vidovic (193-99, agency: PEPI SPORT) added 14 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Zabok. They moved-up to seventh place. Loser Dubrava dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. They share it with Osijek and Sibenik. Zabok will meet at home league's second-placed Zadar in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Dubrava will play against Skrljevo (#6) and hope to secure a win.
