Very expected game in Klaipeda where bottom-ranked LCC Tarp. (0-6) was rolled over by leader Neptunas (6-0) 93-66 on Wednesday. The game was mostly controlled by Neptunas. LCC Tarp. managed to win third quarter 20-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They made 16-of-19 free shots (84.2 percent) during the game. Neptunas forced 24 LCC Tarp. turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by LCC Tarp.'s players. Brazilian Maisa Pereira (183-2, agency: Interperformances) stepped up and scored 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and American point guard Savannah Plentovich (172-98, college: Gardner-Webb, agency: Interperformances) chipped in 18 points (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Point guard Laurita Jurciute (178-98) responded with 27 points and 6 assists and forward Guste Draksaite (184-0) scored 17 points and 9 rebounds. LCC Tarp.'s coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Neptunas. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. LCC Tarp. lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. Neptunas will meet Daugavpils Universitate (#6) on the road in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. LCC Tarp. will play against BJBS R/J (#6) in Riga and hopes to get finally their first victory.
