Not a big story in a game when 10th ranked Provence Basket (4-5) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked SIG Strasbourg (6-3) 80-69 on Thursday. SIG Strasbourg made 18-of-21 free shots (85.7 percent) during the game. SIG Strasbourg outrebounded Provence Basket 43-26 including 31 on the defensive glass. Bosnian-American point guard John Roberson (180-88, college: Texas Tech) stepped up and scored 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners and American forward Matt Mitchell (198-99, college: SDSU) chipped in 18 points and 7 rebounds.
