Regular Season Round 4: M.Haifa - Petah Tikva 70-68

The most exciting game of round 4 in the D1 took place in Haifa. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 7th ranked Petah Tikva (1-3) to top-ranked M.Haifa (4-0) 70-68 on Friday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Guard Kenisha Bell (175-94, college: Minnesota) replied with a double-double by scoring 21 points, 12 rebounds and 7 assists and center Khadijiah Cave (190-95, college: Baylor) added 28 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks in the effort for Petah Tikva. M.Haifa have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 4-0 record. Petah Tikva at the other side keeps the seventh place with three games lost. They share the position with Ramat G. and Holon. M.Haifa are looking forward to face league's second-placed Rishon LZ in Rishon Le-Zion in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Petah Tikva will play at home against Holon (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
