An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Kinna. Leader Lulea Basket faced second-best Mark. Guests from Lulea (9-0) smashed host Mark (6-3) 96-59. They outrebounded Mark 44-32 including a 33-19 advantage in defensive rebounds. Lulea Basket players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Mark's players. The game was also dominated by American players. It was a good game for guard Brooke McCarty-Williams (163-95, college: Texas) who led her team to a victory with 18 points and 5 assists. Guard Bria Goss (178-92, college: Kentucky) contributed with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Guard Chanette Hicks (168-97, college: Norfolk St.) answered with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists and forward Brittany Hernandez (185-93, college: UCCS) added 12 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Mark. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Mark's coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Lulea Basket have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 9-0 record. Mark at the other side dropped to the third position with three games lost. They share it with 3 other teams. Lulea Basket will play against league's second-placed Dolphins in Norrkoping in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Mark will play on the road against Sparks in Huskvarna and hopes to get back on the winning track.
