The most surprising game was another loss of top-ranked Njardvik (6-3) at the home court on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by fifth ranked Haukar (4-1) 63-56. The guests trailed by 3 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 5-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 63-56. Haukar held Njardvik to an opponent 23.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 33.8 percent accuracy of the winners. Guard Solrun Gisladottir (180-96, college: Co.Georgia) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points. American point guard Haiden Palmer (174-91, college: Gonzaga, agency: Shark Sports Management) contributed with 7 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists for the winners.
