LF Endesa top team - Avenida (9-0) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed fifth ranked Araski (5-4) in Vitoria-Gasteiz 92-44. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Araski. They outrebounded Araski 36-19 including 25 on the defensive glass. American swingman Kahleah Copper (186-94, college: Rutgers) stepped up and scored 17 points for the winners and British-American forward Katie Samuelson (190-97, college: UConn) chipped in 16 points. Four Avenida players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was American guard Tanaya Atkinson (183-96, college: Temple) with 16 points and Mozambican power forward Leia Dongue (185-91) scored 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Avenida have an impressive series of nine victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 9-0 record. Araski at the other side keeps the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with 3 other teams.
