The game in Minsk supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Victoria (5-4) played at the court of 7th ranked BDU Tsmoki (1-8). Victoria smashed BDU Tsmoki 85-44 on Sunday. The game without a history. Victoria led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BDU Tsmoki to just 3 points in second quarter. Victoria held BDU Tsmoki to an opponent 11.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 41.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Victoria forced 31 BDU Tsmoki turnovers and outrebounded them 52-33 including a 35-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. International point guard Katsiaryna Novik (170-5) stepped up and scored 18 points and 8 rebounds for the winners and point guard Evgenia Bernatskaya (170-5) chipped in 17 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. The best for the losing side was point guard Aliaksandra Yakubovich (175-3) with 9 points and 6 rebounds and swingman Hristina Iaruta (178-5) scored 5 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Victoria maintains fourth place with 5-4 record. BDU Tsmoki lost their fourth game in a row. They keep the seventh position with eight games lost. Victoria will meet at home Gomel (#5) in the next round. BDU Tsmoki's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Minsk to the arena Tsmoki-Minsk.
