Regular Season Round 7: Lublin - Polkowice 75-72

The most exciting game of round 7 in the EBLK took place in Lublin. This derby game ended with only three-point defeat on the road of 3rd placed Polkowice (4-2) to leader Lublin (6-0) 75-72 on Sunday evening. Lublin made 22-of-25 free shots (88.0 percent) during the game. American guard Kamiah Smalls (178-98, college: JMU, agency: LBM Management) fired a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists (made all of her ten free throws !!!) for the winners. Her fellow American import power forward Natasha Mack (193-97, college: OK State, agency: LBM Management) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 16 rebounds. Zimbabwean-American center Stephanie Mavunga (191-95, college: Ohio St., agency: LBM Management) produced a double-double by scoring 22 points, 16 rebounds and 4 assists and the former international point guard Weronika Gajda (174-89) added 8 points and 8 assists respectively for lost side. Lublin have an impressive series of six victories in a row. They maintain first place with 6-0 record. Polkowice at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. They share it with Arka Gdynia. Lublin are looking forward to face Arka Gdynia (#3) on the road in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Polkowice will play against Katarzynki and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
