Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both ninth ranked Holon and 7th ranked Petah Tikva had identical 1-3 record. But Petah Tikva was not able to use a home court advantage and was defeated by the opponent from Holon 88-78 on Monday night. Holon dominated down low during the game scoring 70 of its points in the paint compared to Petah Tikva's 48. Holon had a 34-21 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American center Kelsey Bone (193-91, college: Texas A&M) who had a double-double by scoring 23 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists. International forward Danielle Raber (183-96) chipped in a double-double by scoring 16 points, 18 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals. Five Holon players scored in double figures. American guard Kenisha Bell (175-94, college: Minnesota) produced 29 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and the other American import forward Jordan Hooper (188-92, college: Nebraska) added 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the hosts. Holon (2-3) moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Ramat G. Loser Petah Tikva dropped to the bottom position with four games lost. They share it with Hertzeliya. Holon will meet at home higher ranked Ramat H. (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Petah Tikva will play against the league's leader Rishon LZ (#1) and hope to win that game.
