Serie A2 top team - Scrivia (8-0) managed to deliver another win on Saturday. This time they beat fifth ranked Milano (5-3) 66-56. The winners were led by guard Valentina Bonasia (163-94, agency: LBM Management) who scored that evening 20 points and 5 rebounds and guard Ada De Pasquale (178-95) supported her with 13 points and 5 assists. Even a double-double of 10 points and 12 rebounds by Serbian-Hungarian power forward Emese Vida (190-93) did not help to save the game for Milano. Naturalized Brazilian swingman Tayara Madonna (170-91) added 11 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Scrivia maintains first position in A2 with 8-0 record. Loser Milano keeps the fifth place with three games lost. Scrivia will meet league's second-placed Crema on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Milano will play against Bolzano BC and hope to secure a win.
