Regular Season Round 11: Quart - Girona B 62-68

Very predictable result when second ranked Girona B (7-2) won against on the road 9th ranked Quart (3-6) 68-62 on Saturday. Girona B made 23-of-27 free shots (85.2 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Adria Moncanut (183-2) who led the winners and scored 15 points (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). Gambian center Lamin Dibba (208-97) accounted for 10 points and 8 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Jordi Bataller (193-86) came up with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Josep Gascon (-1) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Quart in the defeat. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted Girona B maintains second place in Group C-3 with 7-2 record behind leader Lliria. Quart lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the eighth position with six games lost. They share it with Azulejos. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
