Important game to mention about took place in Barcelona. Fourth ranked Granada (8-3) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging 7th ranked Lima-Horta (5-5) 47-44 on Saturday evening. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Lima-Horta. Granada forced 19 Lima-Horta turnovers. It was an exceptional evening for forward Rebeca Ortiz (180-93) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 11 rebounds. Argentinian Andrea Boquete (183-90) accounted for 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winning side. Guard Eliana Soriano (175-89) came up with 10 points and 8 rebounds and guard Vanesa Verbo (174-94) added 7 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Lima-Horta in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Granada. They maintain fourth place with 8-3 record. Lima-Horta at the other side keeps the seventh position with five games lost. They share it with Paterna. Granada will play against league's leader Jairis in Alcantarilla in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Lima-Horta will play on the road against Al-Qazeres (#13) in Caceres and hopes to get back on the winning track.
