No shocking result in a game when second ranked LKS Lodz (11-1) crushed 7th ranked Ostrow Mazow. (7-5) in Ostrow Mazowiecki 88-66 on Saturday. LKS Lodz outrebounded Ostrow Mazow. 48-36 including 36 on the defensive glass. The winners were led by point guard Norbert Kulon (187-92) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 17 points, 7 rebounds and 11 assists (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and forward Bartlomiej Bartoszewicz (199-92) supported him with 16 points and 16 rebounds. Five LKS Lodz players scored in double figures. LKS Lodz's coach Piotr Zych felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even a double-double of 16 points and 14 rebounds by center Mohamed Abdelaal (207-99) did not help to save the game for Ostrow Mazow.. Swingman Daniel Nieporecki (192-94) added 15 points and 4 assists. LKS Lodz have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Rydzyna and Poznan. Loser Ostrow Mazow. dropped to the fifth place with five games lost. LKS Lodz will meet at home Tur Bielsk Pdl.
