Very predictable result when second ranked Tarn.Gory (11-2) won against on the road 14th ranked Rybnik (2-9) 92-86 on Saturday. Tarn.Gory looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The winners were led by power forward Mariusz Piotrkowski (198-84) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 13 points and 10 rebounds and power forward Jakub Czyz (205-95) supported him with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Five Tarn.Gory players scored in double figures. Even 26 points by point guard Marcin Kosiorowski (172-5) did not help to save the game for Rybnik. Point guard Kacper Wydra (180-0) added 19 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Tarn.Gory have an impressive five-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Polonia Bytom. Loser Rybnik keeps the fourteenth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Zastal ZG. Tarn.Gory will meet at home Iskra Cz (#12) in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Rybnik will play against Korona in Krakow and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
