Very expected game in Riga where 8th ranked Jurmala (1-4) was rolled over by fourth ranked Ridzene (2-1) 73-46 on Saturday. The game without a history. Ridzene led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Jurmala to just 5 points in second quarter and to 13 points in first half. Ridzene held Jurmala to an opponent 23.9 percent shooting from the field compared to 33.3 percent accuracy of the winners. Ridzene forced 27 Jurmala turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 7 passes made by Jurmala's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ridzene made 8 blocks.
