Regular Season Round 12: Wisla Krakow - Przemysl 57-68

Everything could happen at the game between two tied teams. Both eighth ranked Przemysl and 9th ranked Wisla Krakow had identical 7-5 record. But Wisla Krakow was not able to use a home court advantage and lost to the opponent from Przemysl 68-57 on Saturday night. Przemysl forced 20 Wisla Krakow turnovers. The winners were led by guard Rafal Serwanski (188-0) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals and swingman Bartosz Bal (190-89) supported him with 14 points and 5 rebounds. Even 12 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by point guard Dominik Krakowiak (195-0) did not help to save the game for Wisla Krakow. Forward Filip Rerak (198-2) added 12 points and 7 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Przemysl (8-5) have an impressive six-game winning streak. Newly promoted Przemysl maintains eighth position. Wisla Krakow lost third consecutive game. They keep the ninth place with six games lost. Przemysl will meet higher ranked Cracovia (#7) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Wisla Krakow will play against Tarnow and hope to secure a win and be promoted back to the 1Liga just one year after relegation.
