Very important is a home loss of second ranked Basket Landes (5-2) against ninth ranked Roche (4-4) on Saturday night. Host Basket Landes was defeated by Roche in Mont de Marsan 93-80. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Basket Landes. Roche dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Basket Landes' 36. Roche moved-up to seventh place. Defending champion Basket Landes dropped to the third position with two games lost. They share it with Bourges. Roche will play against higher ranked Villeneuve D'Ascq (#6) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Basket Landes will play against Bourges and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
