Regular Season Round 9: La Glacerie - CFBB 61-62

Bottom-ranked La Glacerie (0-9) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 62-61 loss to eleventh ranked CFBB (2-7) in La Glacerie on Saturday evening. Guard Manoe Cisse (161-4) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds for the winners and guard Fatoumata Toure (171-4) chipped in 20 points. CFBB's coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was point guard Yvanna Enjolvy (-1) with 16 points and Rosette Mendy scored 10 points and 5 rebounds. CFBB moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Calais. La Glacerie lost their ninth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with nine games lost. CFBB will meet at home higher ranked Toulouse (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. La Glacerie will play against Calais (#10) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
