There was no surprise when 15th ranked M.Hod Hasharon (1-8) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked E.Ashkelon (5-4) 80-64. E.Ashkelon outrebounded M.Hod Hasharon 45-32 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. American Storm Warren (211-88, college: LSU) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 30 points and 17 rebounds. Guard Alon Druker (180-0) contributed with 9 points and 6 assists for the winners. American power forward Tavrion Dawson (202-96, college: CSUN, agency: Slash Sports) replied with a double-double by scoring 20 points and 11 rebounds and his fellow American import Justin Tuoyo (208-94, college: Chattanooga) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for M.Hod Hasharon. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. E.Ashkelon maintains fifth position with 5-4 record. M.Hod Hasharon lost fifth consecutive game.
