Regular Season Round 8: Ramat Hash. - H.Ramat Gan 68-66

The most exciting game of round 8 in the National League took place in Ramat Hasharon. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of 9th ranked H.Ramat Gan (4-4) to second ranked Ramat Hash. (7-1) 68-66 on Sunday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Ramat Hash. made 24-of-26 free shots (92.3 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was American Tyler Wideman (203-95, college: Butler) who had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 10-for-10 from the free throw line !!!). The other American import guard Kevin Capers (188-93, college: FSC) chipped in 16 points. Ramat Hash.'s coach Guy Kantor used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Point guard Amit Ebo (180-99) produced 26 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Demetrius Treadwell (201-91, college: Akron) added 13 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the guests. Ramat Hash. have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain second position with 7-1 record behind leader I.Nahariya. H.Ramat Gan at the other side dropped to the seventh place with four games lost. They share the position with Hapoel H/M. Ramat Hash. are looking forward to face M.Raanana (#11) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. H.Ramat Gan will play against H.Afula (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
