Very expected game in Valmiera where 9th ranked VIA (1-5) was rolled over by top-ranked RSU 2 (6-0) 71-38 on Monday. The game without a history. RSU 2 led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated on the defensive end, holding VIA to just 4 points in third quarter. RSU 2 held VIA to an opponent 20.6 percent shooting from the field compared to 39.4 percent accuracy of the winners. RSU 2 forced 28 VIA turnovers. Katrina Ozola (188-4) scored 20 points and 8 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Enija Viksne (178-4) chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 6 steals during the contest.
