Regular Season Round 10: Ammerud Bskt - Kongsberg 79-90

Rather expected game when 8th ranked Ammerud Bskt (3-8) lost to fifth ranked Kongsberg (7-3) in Oslo 79-90 on Thursday. Croatian Marin Mornar (205-93, college: LMU) notched 33 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and international guard Torgrim Sommerfeldt (198-89, college: Manhattan) supported him with 14 points and 11 rebounds. Five Kongsberg players scored in double figures. Kongsberg's coach Henrik Aabelvik used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even a double-double of 27 points and 14 rebounds by American forward Jordan Session (203-96, college: Georgia St.) did not help to save the game for Ammerud Bskt. His fellow American import point guard AJ Harris (175-96, college: NM State) added 24 points, 8 assists and 4 steals for lost side. Kongsberg maintains fifth position with 7-3 record. Loser Ammerud Bskt keeps the eighth place with eight games lost. Kongsberg will meet league's leader Gimle BBK in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Ammerud Bskt will play against Baerum Basket (#6) in Bekkestua and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
