Basketligan top team - KFUM Jamtland (12-2) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed fifth ranked SBBK (7-5) in Ostersund 103-71. KFUM Jamtland shot 62.3 percent from the field. KFUM Jamtland outrebounded SBBK 34-19 including a 28-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. KFUM Jamtland looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American point guard CJ Wilson (180-94, college: Young Harris) who helped to win the game recording a triple-double by scoring 16 points, 11 rebounds and 11 assists. The former international forward Pierre Hampton (201-91) contributed with 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five KFUM Jamtland players scored in double figures. KFUM Jamtland's coach Adnan Cuk felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The former international point guard Jonathan Person (190-93) replied with 12 points and 6 assists and American forward Galin Smith (206-98, college: Maryland) added 12 points in the effort for SBBK. KFUM Jamtland maintains first position with 12-2 record. SBBK at the other side keeps the fifth place with five games lost. KFUM Jamtland are looking forward to face Umea (#8) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. SBBK will play against the league's second-placed Norrkoping Dolphins and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win.
